CBTI (Community-Based Tourism Initiative) is an initiative that empowers local communities in the Greater Virunga region through sustainable tourism, livelihood programs, and conservation support.

We offer authentic community-based tourism activities including cultural tours, village visits, traditional food experiences, nature walks, and conservation activities.
Can I support without traveling?
Absolutely! You can donate to our projects or sponsor specific initiatives such as school fees, tree planting, or clean water projects.
How secure are donations?
All donations are transparently managed and directed to specific community projects. We also provide updates to donors about the impact of their contribution.
How is your tourism different from mainstream tours?
